  • Second-time mom

Carol was a wonderful doula and really helped with my birthing experience. The first time I gave birth, I felt that I wasn’t listened to. Carol made sure that the staff understood my birth plan. She came over and gave my husband and I tips on how to make the birthing experience go much smoother. I was much more comfortable this time around with Carol as my doula. Thanks to Carol, I was in active labor for only 4 hours, and pushed for only 4 minutes. Carol prayed for me and my baby and spoke life into us during the most difficult times of labor. I am truly grateful for finding her and having her be a part of my pregnancy and child birth.

  • First-time dad

As a dad, I’ll admit that I was initially skeptical about hiring a doula. But after working with Carol, I am 100% convinced it was one of the best decisions we made. Carol went above and beyond in every way—she thought of everything, from detailed lists for food prep and a birth plan to exactly what to pack for the hospital. Her thorough preparation made the entire experience smoother and far less stressful.

When we arrived at the hospital, Carol showed up with food to keep my wife nourished and a suitcase full of thoughtful goodies, each item carefully chosen to support us during labor. Her knowledge and expertise throughout the process were invaluable. Carol was even better than the nurses at guiding us through each moment, offering comfort and reassurance with unmatched confidence and care.

  • Postpartum mom

Carol has become an essential part of our family’s journey. Her attention to detail made all the difference in helping us feel well-nourished and cared for as we adjusted to life with our new baby. I’ll definitely be hiring her for any future children. I can’t recommend Carol highly enough. If you’re considering a doula, consider Carol—and make sure she’s by your side throughout this life-changing experience.

  • First-time mom

Carol was the best doula we could have asked for during our first pregnancy! We were so grateful for her knowledge and willingness to research and provide us with thorough information for the big decisions we had to make. Neither of us knew what questions to even ask when we first found out we were pregnant, but Carol sat down with us in the early second trimester and had a list of questions for us to consider. She even had questions for us to ask our provider, hospital, and pediatrician to ensure we would have the birth experience we desired for us and our baby. In the third trimester, Carol helped us practice techniques to help with pain management for contractions and labor. She had many different methods to try and provided equipment that she brought to our house and the hospital when labor began. She traveled to our home as soon as she heard I was in labor to help assist us in the comfort of our own space before she advised it was time to go to the hospital. Being new to the Dallas area we didn't know many providers for our health needs. Carol provided us with the best recommendations for chiropractors, my OB/GYN, massage therapists, pediatricians, and even circumcision. She had amazing people lined up who were willing to consider both holistic and traditional medicine approaches to pregnancy and pediatric practice. We've genuinely loved everyone she has given us referrals to and would recommend Carol to anyone in need of a Doula.

  • VBAC mom

I was able to have my deeply wanted VBAC! Although I did all kinds of things to prepare and hand-picked my team, I truly believe Carol was a pivotal part of my success.

Carol’s sweet personality made it so easy to get along. Her two prenatal visits were super helpful and her vast knowledge and passion to help mamma achieve her goal showed so easily and were incredibly helpful. When the day came, I let her know right away and in a few hours she was at home with us, making all kinds of helpful suggestions. I was able to labor until 7cm with her help, and then asked for the epidural. She took care of so many things during my 12-hour labor (1 hour of pushing), from position changes and pushing suggestions to warm compresses to reduce tearing. She also gave me reassurance when my baby was getting extra care at the warmer and even stayed with me longer until I was able to be transported to NICU to be with my husband and our baby.

The only predictable thing about birth is that it is unpredictable. I prepared a lot and used visualization to picture my dream birth, and I mean it when I say Carol helped me have as close to my dream birth as possible.

Words from my husband: “Carol was the best. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her help. She knows so much and truly cares! She was amazing!”

If you are considering hiring a doula for your birth, do yourself a favor and look no further.

  • First-time mom

Carol was an incredible gift to us during our pregnancy and birth. She offered steady, compassionate care from the start of our pregnancy to the end of a long labor- always available to guide, encourage, and pray with us. When labor came early one Thursday, she met us at home when we weren’t sure if it was time to go in and not only reassured us but reminded us to use the practical tools (sling and TENS unit) she loaned us and simple techniques for my husband to support me that she had taught us during our appointments. Those made all the difference in helping us feel calm and capable. She then stood faithfully with us through 37 hours of (mostly unmedicated!) labor, supporting both me and my husband every step of the way. We worshipped our way through most of labor and did so in a warm and calming environment thanks to the intention Carol brought into the hospital birth space. Her calm, grounding presence created peace in the hardest moments, and we are endlessly thankful for her. We count her as a friend and we will definitely use her again if and when the time comes!
